The Beginnings

As many of you know, Mike and I have been planning an extended trip for the spring of 2014 for a couple of years now. We'll use this blog to keep our friends and family updated as we move around the Western Hemisphere. We plan to leave much of our travels unplanned, since we assume that will be a rare luxury in our future. That being said, we're quickly learning that, in the interest of frugality and healthy blood pressure, things like plane tickets and ski condos necessitate some structure. So, we'll be posting our skeleton itinerary soon.

Our two main inspirations for our travels: Eurotrip 2011 and North Cascades 2013.
